For many people the decision is purely economic (a quality leather corner sofa being prohibitively expensive), but even the well heeled shopper must still address some issues: including leather care, ethical concerns and constantly sliding off onto the floor! Also, remember that the worn leather sofa in your local bar may look trendy but may not look quite so good in your living room. Also, it isn’t always easy to find worn, aged looking leather and may take years to achieve the desired look. Equally, don’t forget that some leathers, certainly cheaper versions can be very cold to sit on initially, especially in the winter. If you have children or animals, then leather sofas are ideal because they are easy to wipe clean.
